Janis Shearer is the Public Services & Engagement Librarian and Head of the Agricultural Communications Documentation Center with the University of Illinois Library.

She is the library liaison to Illinois Extension, a subject specialist for agricultural communications, and is available to assist Extension staff with information searches within the library catalog, databases, and other medium.

She can help you locate and understand different library services and resources, like interlibrary loan, citation managers and workshops. In addition to keeping you informed with news from the library, Janis develops collaborative programming for the Funk ACES Library and is eager to explore and implement ideas that support your valuable work.
